Thank you to Sabrina for her help with this video! bit.ly/2yeNDLr
radio stations are going extinct like a buncha lil dinos. awww look at that lil dino. wouldn't it be cool if a lil dino was in your house just biting stuff? really makes you think.
Gus Johnson plays all sorts of characters, from Mitchell Robbins to JK Rowling to some guy in God's Country to Imbiamba Jombes to filming videos with his mom to the Gus & Eddy Podcast to small town reviews to I don't know why I am writing this. I am Gus. I wrote this. Also subscribe to the Gus & Eddy Podcast please. Eddy Burback and I make it and it's ok.
Thanks for watching and sharing! Don't stab people. I'll see you later.

  • follow me on twitter to win an oversized t-shirt or a mug or some dumb garbage @Gusbuckets

  • Kavzil

  • *WANT A BREAK FROM THE ADS?*

  • i was watching a video about asteroids when i started this video and the noises in the beginning lined up perfectly with the asteroids colliding and i was like "wow nice sound effects video"

  • Radio is still quite alive in here, since one of them is real time city-wide traffic news. Really helpful when something happens and there's traffic jam nearby

  • I guess Spotify killed the radio star

  • Did Gus predict 2020?

  • Hey 104.1 out here in Houston

  • Lol

  • It's kind of awkward like fallout 4 radio stations

  • Fun fact 104.1 in Oregon is a Christian station Called The Fish.

  • I'm pretty sure this is radio stations now

  • Even more better. Talking into the wrong side of the mic

  • I like your tele!!

  • Those 692 dislikes are all radio people

  • Coming from someone who worked in the industry for two years, this video is a gem. Love it Gus, especially the t-shirt bit. Why would anyone listen to radio today? You want talk? Switch to podcasts. Music? Get Spotify. Let it die already!

  • I have a radio in my room and I love it.

  • God entered into my body, like a body. my same size. this is holy ghost baptism. God attacks me. rips my face, shoots in mouth, gum disease. come to God to and get ruined

  • The first 6 seconds can’t be more true

  • Spotify killed the radio host

  • I love how he said something about Def Leppard, I love that band

  • It has happened a lot soooner than he thought bwooo bebop find me on Sunday in the next comment

  • As someone who was actually a broadcaster on fm radio.... this is too real man

  • 👌

  • You have no idea how true that Def Leppard joke is

  • The zoom in when he says "104.1 Dead FM toothpick" was fucking comedy gold

  • I think radio stations are going to be the future, not because I'm a boomer, but because I think the least older people use these things, the most future kids will use it, just a thought

  • He always calls me Robbie smh

  • My small town actually has a radio station that does giveaways and trivia rounds in the morning. It's actually kind of charming to hear all the older folks calling in excited to answer "In which country can the city of Cardiff be found?".

  • I just realized my dad is going to die in 20 years..

  • I think radios will be as dead as paper books. There will be alternatives but people will still use it.

  • I still like the radio...

  • A little radio trivia, the reason why radio stations constantly state the frequency they're on and a bunch of letters (their call sign) is because the FCC mandates all broadcasters outside of CB to state their callsign every 20 minutes or so.

  • Sad

  • I won't lie, this would be pretty dope. Imagine radio only playing one song per month. With everyone usually using Spotify, it could turn into a fun unifying event where you know you're all listening to the same song together. Lighters out, boys

  • I feel bad, honestly.

  • why does sound like the diamond city radio in fallout 4?

  • Love the extra touch of the unused yeti mic not even being oriented right

  • My name is Robby

  • Honestly I think they’ll just transition into live streaming like a podcast in a year or so

  • Podcasts killed the radio star. Hated the original song too. Ugh.

  • Diamond City Radio be like:

  • 20 is gosh darn generous

  • I can’t get a read on this guys age.

  • “Kevin Mack lee od” we love you Gus

  • What brand tele is that

  • Thats a beautiful telecaster. I have the same one

  • Video killed the radio star

  • This is like from a GTA radio station from the future. XD

  • My pfp is animated

  • I’m one of the few people that listen

  • I'm so sick of hearing the same few songs over and over for months. Every station genre does it, but it's absolutely inexcusable for the classic rock stations! I mean, come on! For example, listening to the radio, it seems that Pink Floyd only recorded 3 songs. Ditto Queen. I think Prince recorded like 2 songs. The Beatles deserve extra recognition because they recorded something like 6 whole songs, according to my local radio.

  • you dont need to pay royalties to play songs on the radio it considered promotion to the song

  • Just a question. but why wouldn't you use the blue mic for the recording lol, does the other one really sound better?

  • I worked for the cencus and that ending is the best thing ever

  • Psssshhhh that how it is at radio now

  • Lol Kevin mAcLEod

  • This is gonna be true

  • *10 years

  • The real comedy in this video is that he thinks that Kevin McLeod will still be relevant in 20 years

  • Do more content like this. I like your work

  • Really hope the remaining def leopard members aren’t dead in seven years

  • the deff leopard tickets part is so real

  • _when you get an ad for virgin radio.._

  • Too real

  • Radio in quarantine

  • Radio, radio, 104.1

  • This is radio now.

  • I see the help me in your eyes

  • I love how he said “By Kevin Macleod” instead of just saying (Put Exempalar song here). Kevin Macleod is everyone’s childhood friends even if you didn’t know all these songs that you hear are by him or if you even knew Kevin was a singer.

  • I love how his mic is pointed the wrong way.

  • Wait how'd he know I was listening

  • In the Philippines FM radio is still revelent

  • Hey 104.1 is actually my local radio station it’s 104.1 the dock out of Midland Ontario

  • Yes, there is a Kevin MacLeod ~ Elevator ischats.info/fun/iaV6nqCEiWefpK4/v-deo

  • somehow i read the title as "gas stations in 20 years" and i was losing my mind trying to figure out what was happening

  • I just realized every rose a has its thorn was a song he covered a couple years ago

  • Isn't this how it is no tho?

  • I have the same mic as you

  • Apparently there's still a lot of Hispanics getting the latest mariachi music on the radio, piped straight from south of the border. And old people gettin their NPR politics and AM talk radio on. But if you don't fall into those two categories, there's nothin for ya.

  • I'd listen to the radio, if there was anything good coming out. Nowadays it's nothing but factory processed pop and politics.

  • This is a REAL rock station for ONLY THE HARDEST, REALEST ROCK. NONE OF THAT POP BULLSHIT HERE. Up next here’s Twenty-One Pilots

  • Denver has a station that only plays comedy and i love it but thats about the only station I listen too

  • i remember fm radio really helped out with long boring car rides, if it starts to sound like this it will help out more

  • more likely to happen in 2 years

  • The Kevin Macleod reference is amazing

  • When he made those weird noises at the beginning , I was out of breath .😂😂😂😂😂

  • i can tell you a story. leveled the ship, saw a dart pop off the dirt, tried my hardest not to get hit. nothing anyone could do. we went down.

  • I thought this was made in 2040 sadly I am mistaken

  • If radio focused on non-mainstream stuff and helped local artists they would survive

  • I think this will be me in 2041

  • She's been dead for years give it up

  • 0:05 just pause for a second and gaze at that masterpiece

  • I'm just gonna start answering the phone like 2:34

  • "Official 104.1 DeadFM Toothpick"

  • Waiting for this to be recommended to us in 20 years

  • gus has dissociative identity disorder

  • Why are you so good?

  • 104.1 is one of my local stations, nice

  • B 104.1
